Michael Smerconish is my personal favorite talking head. He always brings both sides to the table and hashes out discussions. I wish more folks in the media did the same thing. Americans might actually have conversations instead of arguments.

The McCain ticket was bound to have a bounce after the Palin surprise. But damn. Some polls are showing a 10 point lead for McCain. Which brings me to this link. I hope American have the right color in mind when pulling the lever on November 4.

Olbermann went WAY over the top during the conventions. It was hard to watch. I kept flipping to CNN whose coverage seemed more even-handed. I think my Mom had it right -- watch C-SPAN's coverage that doesn't have ANY commentary.
